The Essen and Rostock Hut is a beautiful stage destination and an important base on the Venediger High Trail and the Hoch Tirol ski route. The site offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding world of three-thousand-meter peaks. The area of Dreiherrn, Simony, and Malham Peaks, the Great Geiger, Happ, or Maurerkeesköpfe is ideal for learning more about mountaineering and climbing in alpine courses. The hut is perfectly equipped for the training-interested audience. Open from mid-February to mid-May for ski tourers as well.
Ascent:
From the parking lot Ströden 2 ½ h, after 20 minutes there is an option for luggage transport with a material cable car.
