Description

The walk starts at Rauterplatz and follows the Proßeggweg to the junction below the castle. From there, a wide path (suitable for pushchairs) leads into the beautiful castle grounds. Along the way, you’ll find oversized metal animal sculptures created by a local artist. The castle grounds themselves are a lovely place to linger, with their ancient trees and stunning views of the Tauern region. The return journey follows the same route as the outward journey.
